Meeting the Cybersecurity Challenge with Trust, Visibility and Resilence

Through the rapid growth of the Internet and number of IP-addressable devices, we have become a network-dependent nation that faces a complex, sophisticated array of challenges and threats.  One of the many guarantees of being connected to the public Internet is that you will be attacked.  How do you properly manage and protect information within an organization’s best interest and regulatory environment while still leveraging new and disruptive technologies?

To meet this challenge, an organization must do three things well:

  • You must have the confidence and trust that you can identify and manage your information technology assets.
  • You must have visibility into the enterprise network to enable the prevention and detection of threats and unnecessary risks.
  • Once a breach occurs you must be able to quickly respond so that the scale of the attacks is mitigated, the impact to operations and daily business is minimized, and that the organization can learn from the event.

To build a strong cybersecurity strategy, it is important to assess your organization’s abilities across these three focus areas.
